Liposuction: Bad Celebrity Plastic Surgery or Necessary Evil?

Liposuction is a fairly common procedure done by everyone from the average soccer mom to the most well-known celebrities. The reason that liposuction can be done by both of these groups is that it’s a surgery which is intended for people who are basically of average weight. Other types of weight loss surgery may be meant for the truly overweight but liposuction is for people who simply have a little fat here or there that they want to get rid of.

There is, of course, the argument that liposuction is a bad form of celebrity plastic surgery because of the negative impact it can have on the body’s appearance immediately following the procedure. Luckily, the procedure is improving to the point where this argument’s validity is flying out the window as fast as the fat is flowing away from the body. What do you think? Should the stars get lipo or suck it in and spend their time in the gym?
