Plastic Surgery Procedures for the Breasts

If a woman in your life were to tell you that she was interested in getting plastic surgery, what is the procedure that you are most likely to assume that she is going to get? Most people will assume that a woman is considering a "boob job". Although we get plastic surgery on all different parts of the body, the plastic surgery that most people want to dicuss is plastic surgery for the breasts.

Here's a look at the different plastic surgery procedures available involving the breasts:

- Breast Augmentation. The most common type of breast plastic surgery is the "boob job" or breast augmentation in which the size of the breasts is increased.

- Breast Reduction. Although most women want larger breasts, some women want theirs to be smaller so they get a breast reduction surgery instead.

- Breast Lift. Some women are happy with the size of their breasts but want them to be perkier. The Breast Lift is the solution. This one is commonly considered part of the "Mommy Makeover" plastic surgery that has gotten popular in recent years.

- Benelli Lift. This is a less-invasive partial breast lift for women with smaller breasts.

- Breast Reconstruction. Women who lose their breasts to cancer will get reconstructive plastic surgery.

- Male Breast Reduction. Some men have boobs and they don't want them so they get a plastic surgeon to help them get rid of them.

These are the most common breast surgery procedures available to people interested in changing the size or shape of their chests.

Question of the Day: What breast surgery do you think is most common other than a breast augmentation?
