Many women who are seeking to get plastic surgery are specifically seeking to get a breast augmentation. Unfortunately this is a fairly intensive surgery in spite of the fact that it is commonly done and considered to be safe for most patients. Some women who don't want to go through a long recovery period may hold off on getting a breast augmentation because of the surgery involved. Those women may be happy to know that there are two relatively new breast augmentation procedures being done that are less invasive and require less recovery time than does the standard breast augmentation.
The first procedure doesn't entirely lessen the intensity of the surgery but it does reduce the scarring typically associated with the breast augmentation because of the way in which the procedure is performed. It's called the Transaxillary Incision and it uses an incision in the armpit rather than the breast when inserting implants which means there is no scarring on the breast. Therefore the healing time in terms of the appearance of the breast is lessened.
The second procedure actually reduces the whole difficulty of the breast augmentation surgery because it doesn't use implants at all. It's called Macrolane and it's really kind of like a dermal filler for the breasts. It's not going to give a huge boost to your size but it can give some small size increase, reshape and firm the breasts and possibly give you the look that you're seeking without requiring the surgery that a full breast implant procedure would require.
