Mommy Makeover
The latest celebrity fashion is to be pregnant, from Nicole Kidman, Nicole Richie to Ashley Simpson, 2008 has made way for Hollywood babies. But as a result of the celeb baby booming craze, comes disgruntled young mothers. Rather than carrying the extra baby pounds post-birth, celebrity mothers are opting for the alternative – plastic surgery. The mommy makeover is the hot headline on Perez Hilton, US and People. There are recent speculations that actress Minnie Driver is on board the mommy makeover bandwagon. The reason for these rumors is that Driver, now 38 years old, was seen scantily clad on the red carpet just weeks after giving birth. Surgeons say the ideal time for a mommy makeover is 6 months after birth. However, many women choose to have a lift or lipo procedure just weeks after giving birth. Since the body is already going through so many changes, the most effective and best result for these surgeries is after 6 months, giving mom ample time to recover and lose some weight. Photolink

Bollywood's Booming Breasts, Bums and Botox
Growing demand in India for cosmetic surgery is making Bollywood's backdrop the new "it" place for nips, tucks and pricks. Indian plastic surgeons have reported an all time high in numbers, with more people queuing up for Botox injections, breast augmentations, liposuction and facelifts. Though India, much like other countries in the world is succumbing to the credit crunch, people in Mumbai and Delhi are investing in appearance rather than stocks. Perhaps investing in good looks has a better outcome than the market. Much of the hype is due in part to Bollywood actors sizzling up their looks for the big screen, with hopes of competing with plastic junkies in Hollywood and the UK. The notion of cosmetic enhancement is far more acceptable in Indian culture nowadays, with the emergence and subsequent fanaticism of Bollywood. Photolink

Under 18s Ban
The Australian government has banned under 18s from plastic surgery and solariums in the Queensland territory of the country. The Sunshine State, and no I'm not talking about California or Florida, is the first to in Australia to employ the stringent law. Those who break the law are facing some hefty repercussions: $150,000 fine and the possibility of 2 years in prison. The government has said the purpose of the ban is to protect minors from surgery they may regret when they are older; the state doesn't feel youngsters should be undergoing cosmetic enhancements quite yet. The Health Minister Stephen Robertson said,
"The ban applies to purely cosmetic procedures, decisions on which teenagers are not mature enough to make for themselves and may come to regret as adults"
Similarly, the health minister banned the use of solariums due to the astronomical rates of skin cancer in Queensland. Though the amendments seem stiff, the Health Minister and the Queensland government had the support from higher authorities around the country. Photolink

Breast Implants May Mean Extensive Screening
Women with breast implants are being encouraged to undergo further screening methods besides the usual mammogram. In the true spirit of Breast Cancer Awarness Month, reports are being released to promote extra preventive screening methods. Physicians say that women with breast implants should go beyond the yearly mammography and self-checks because oncologists may be finding tumors hidden beneath the implants. There is a slight risk with missing such tumors.
"Breast implants make it more difficult to detect breast cancer on a mammogram because the implants can hide some breast tissue and block the image of a tumor. Because of this, standard techniques used in mammography for compression of the breast and imaging are not as effective for women with breast implants and additional screening tools, such as MRI and ultrasound are recommended."
The study is hoping to promulgate caution and preventive measures for all women who have implants. It is important to be confident about the risks involved with the procedure, and the signs of breast cancer. Photolink

Breaking Down the Barriers
Cosmetic surgery amongst African Americans seems to have been quite taboo. The notion of beautifying, sexifying and enhancing ones looks may have been seen as a negative trait in the community. However in recent years, plastic surgery, more specifically rhinoplasty, has become considerably more common and openly discussed. Some credit the rise in rhinoplasty to prominent African American entertainers getting the procedure done and widely publicizing their adoration for a newly refined nose. Also, the buzz in Hollywood adds to the hype and newfound affection for sexing up your body. This has coincided with the booming plastic surgery industry worldwide, the last decade has brought about a significant rise in popularity, success and notoriety for cosmetic enhancements. Even today, in a struggling economy people are still saving their pennies for that extra nip or lift. So it's great to see stereotypes being broken down and people jumping on board the plastic bandwagon. Photolink

Financial and Plastic Crunch
Even in the midst of the global economic crisis, plastic surgery consumers are still undergoing anti-aging and enhancing procedures. However, rather than going under the knife many are opting for non-invasive procedures. Most of which are more temporary and far more economically viable. The industry is still booming, rather aiming at a different avenue. Plastic surgeons are tailoring their clinics and advertising on procedures like Fraxel, Smart Lipo and a sundry of other non-surgical procedures. Fraxel has gained much notoriety in the recent weeks with baby-booming men and women lining up for pseudo face lifts. The process is considerably less painful, recovery is easy and cost is less than surgical face lifts. As the economy dwindles, the plastic market is shifting as well. So plastic surgeons need not fret, hordes of plastic crazies are still dishing out thousands for procedures. Photolink

Do Not Disturb
In recent years, more and more plastic surgeons are decorating their offices to be more practical and private for patients. Physicians based in Beverly Hills are some of the first to delve into secluded serenities for their celeb clientele. Some are even providing them with safe houses for at least a week for post-op recovery. However, clients hoping to indulge in these hotel-like clinics will need to fork out loads of cash – so it's no wonder celebrities are the lucky few lining up for these holiday surgeries. These high end clinics are not just meant to serve post-op patients well, the interior décor of the offices are luxurious, comfortable, private and serene. A true escape from the bustling LA and Manhattan lifestyles. Some of the Upper-East side and Rodeo Drive suites have views people dream of, and colors, aroma and warmth decorated by top designers. These clinics are raising the bar for luxury and class in plastic surgery. The surgeons based in Hollywood buzzing areas even have backdoors and elevators brilliantly suited to deter frantic paparazzi peering into clinics for that perfect post-op snap. These celebrity doctors really have done their homework. In fact the privacy issue is spreading its way through the states, Houston, Dallas and Miami are a few other cities vying for luxurious pads to secure patients privacy. Photolink

Breast Enhancement of the Future
Plastic surgeons around the globe are experimenting with new breast augmentation materials and procedures. Although, silicone and saline remains the stronghold and physicians top choice for enlargements, titanium coated implants may be the way of the future. Surgeons are dabbling with this alternative with hopes of developing a more natural shape and feel to the enhanced breasts. The titanium coated implants are being used on a select number of patients in South Australia for the first trial run. The researchers say the implants may have perks other than just aesthetically appealing looks – the titanium implants may also prevent inflammatory side effects caused by silicone and saline. The study goes on to say that,
"Since titanium is already present in the body, the body may not react to the implants as if it were a toxic material and therefore adapt better to the implants."
The doctors hope that this implant will further improve collagen maturity in the breasts, providing patients with more natural breasts sooner and for a longer period of time. As for now, women seeking breast enhancements will still be using silicone and saline, however the future may be bright for titanium coated implants considering the progress and positive feedback from the trial study. Breast Augmentation New Birthday Craze
This year teenagers aren't asking for an Iphone, new computer or clothes, rather teen girls are begging parents for breast augmentations for their birthdays. It's becoming a popular trend among teens and college grads to get plastic surgery as a present. Plastic Surgeons are reporting a 20-30% increase in these surgeries among young women. Whether such increases are a result of the iconic and obsessive image of Hollywood celebrities or parents becoming more open to plastic surgery for themselves, the notion of young women busting their boobs is growing rapidly. There is definitely a more open and accepting public perception about cosmetic surgery, no longer is it a novelty or taboo to talk about it. Similarly, the pressure for dating and having an impeccable figure at a young age may also be factors contributing to the larger numbers of teens lining for boob-jobs. However, its not just breast enhancements, plastic surgeons are reporting increases in rhinoplasty and liposuction techniques as well. If you are interested in learning more about some of these procedures, or getting in touch with a physician go to onlinesurgery.com. Photolink

Back to School Surgeries
Autumn in America brings us Football Season, MLB playoffs, beginning of the school year and…plastic surgery? Cosmetic surgeons in Las Vegas, Nevada are getting revved up for the new booming season of cosmetic enhancements. After a long summer of tanning, travel and sleepless nights parents are flocking to surgeons to rid themselves of the summertime blues. The bustling holiday season is approaching, so as kids settle into their school routines, parents choose the back to school session to lift and tuck where they can.
"Summer is very busy with activities, and get-togethers with friends and family around the holidays means that most people just don't have the time to take off and recovery properly. But in fall, you can improve your appearance in time for those seasonal get-togethers and be all set for spring clothes shopping to show off your new look."
Says Vegas plastic surgeon Dr. Cambeiro about autumns booming surgery numbers. Another key reason for these fall surgery fetes is because the days are cooler and much shorter than the blazing sun of the summer. For patients who have performed face-lifts they must stay out of the sun, so it permits them to do so more easily. Similarly, the lack of sun helps most patients during recovery because their stitches will heal better and possible even scar less. Many signs of scaring and aging are due to sun damage – so it may be best to opt for surgery during the darker months. Grab your pencils, binders, school colors and now you're best plastic surgery since the season is in full swing. Going to Great Lengths for a Nip and Tuck
A stripper has been arrested after allegedly conning a woman for $60,000, which she used towards a breast augmentation. 33-year-old Glenda Jean Moore lied to her friend several times about needing money to pay for school and treat her breast cancer, 'worked' at Camelot East Strip Club in Lexington, Kentucky. Her friend was continuously giving her thousands of dollars assuming she would get repaid for her charity; instead her stripper friend was using it for cosmetic surgery. It is quite common to hear of people taking on extra jobs or overtime work to save up money for plastic surgery, but this woman took it way too far. Is this a sign that cosmetic surgery has become far too obsessive of a craze? It makes me wonder, is our society succumbing to Hollywood's outrageous demands that people look unscathed by aging and are in perfect shape, no matter what socioeconomic status they belong to. Plastic surgery is a great means to enhancing your appearance and sculpting your body, however such antics and unlawful behavior should not be accepted. We should keep the lofty values and credibility to the industry and not let one solitary mishap ruin a booming and reputable industry be tarnished. Photolink

Viva Brazil!
It seems as though all things beautiful and wild come from Brazil; Giselle Bundchen, Brazilian Wax, Samba, the infamous 'booty lift,' and the newest beautifying trend added to the Brazilian menu – labiaplasty. In a country that bleeds sex appeal, it's no surprise they are paving the way to spice up cosmetic surgery. And I though the "butt lift" was shocking enough! Labiaplasty, the newest method to jazz up your lower region, differs from the standard vaginal rejuvenation techniques, which focus on tightening the muscles and skin surrounding the vagina. Labiaplasty instead reduces unattractive elongated labia – lips of the vagina. The surgery has taken Rio and Sao Paulo by storm, and the craze is now making its way north to Manhattan, Hollywood and London. British surgeons say they have seen an increase in the procedure, but getting this trendy treatment doesn't come cheap – it runs anywhere from $3,000-8,000 depending on the surgeon and extent of the procedure. If a labiaplasty isn't what you're looking for, but are interested in researching other plastic surgery options, go to onlinesurgery.com. Photolink

Say Cheese!
Plastic Surgeons are going to reveal a state of the art facial reanimation procedure, which will literally make those previously unable to smile the ability to after surgery. Such significant cosmetic surgery enhancements are making surgeons revel in their success. People struggling with drooping jowls and smiles, these new methods may be of great benefit to you. The surgeons backing this procedure outline the benefits saying, "Facial reanimation treats two types of people - those who are born without the ability to smile on one or both sides of their face and those who, due to traumatic accident, tumor or illness, like Bell's palsy, can no longer smile." Revitalizing an unattractive or deformed smile is a topic not discusses openly or commonly in the cosmetic surgery field, so this may boost ravenous or at least dialogue about future procedures. We had heard of body contouring, but this is definitely the first time I have heard of mouth sculpting. If you're interested in this or any other plastic surgery procedure go to onlinesurgery.com where you can also find a physician brilliantly suited to your needs. Photolink

However, in the Czech Republic liposuction and men go hand-in-hand. A recent study says that there may be more men than women opting for the weight loss, body-contouring procedure. Openness about Cosmetic Surgery
Perhaps it's Hollywood and celebrities or simply baby boomers taking in pride in aging gracefully, regardless more and more people are admitting to plastic surgery and becoming more open about future plastic plans. Just yesterday Sharon Osbourne, a cosmetic surgery aficionado and seasoned veteran, denounced her undying love for these anti-aging procedures and how she has noticed more celebs coming clean after going under. Ironically enough, Generations X and Y are having a harder time admitting to their enhancements – the openness is much more pronounced among the baby-boomers of the world, most notably those in their sixties who are proud of their newfound youthful charm. In our age-obsessed society, why not admit to your dashing new looks? After all cosmetic surgery is one of the largest industries, and openness is surging onto the Hollywood scene and Main Street. As Sharon Osbourne put so eloquently,
"if something is bothering you, it doesn't make you happy, then change it."

Obesity and Plastic Surgery
As obesity rates run rampant in both the US and UK, so too does cosmetic surgery after drastic weight loss procedures like gastric bypass. The aftermath of bariatric surgery may be weight loss, but the marks of previous obesity remain. Many formerly obese patients are going under the knife yet again, but this time to remove and enhance flabby skin, drooping breasts and unwanted skin. Such procedures may run anywhere from $4,000-8,000. Although prices may be hefty, clearly the numbers are rising because a report by the British Telegraph says that surging obesity rates have propelled post-bariatric cosmetic procedures by nearly 31% in the past five years. Men are using the surgery to reduce the unattractive excess and loose skin around their breasts, while women are getting breast lifts and augmentations. Post-obesity surgeries may also leave patients with huge amounts of flabby skin on their bellies, so tummy tucks have also risen significantly. Such cosmetic enhancing surgeries are good for the plastic surgery industry, however they ignite discussion and concern about one of the Western world's worst issues – obesity. If you have undergone a weight loss surgery and you're interested in inquiring about procedures that can help you, go to onlinesurgery.com. Australia Stiffens Cosmetic Surgery Laws
A law passed yesterday requiring all plastic surgeons to tell their patients how many times they have performed a particular procedure. This will apply to all invasive cosmetic procedures. The Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery is hoping this new rule will improve the standards and credibility of the industry and protect patients and doctors alike. However this newfound rule is getting considerable flak from government officials. The Australian Health Commission is concerned this will cite an elevated level of confidence towards surgeons by patients. Thus resulting in higher levels of expectations. In order to alleviate the instance of false confidence the Health Commissioner has mandated an extra clause to this rule: for surgeons to disclose their success rates, qualifications as well as risks involved in the surgery. If you're interested in inquiring about plastic surgery or finding a professional near you contact onlinesurgery.com. Photolink

Wartime Advancements for Plastic Surgery
With the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq come advances in technology and techniques in plastic surgery – more specifically reconstructions. Today's high-powered weaponry are causing severely damaging soldiers – and wartime plastic surgeons are at war zones and frontlines trying to help many deformed, hurt and ravaged troops. With the recent advancements in facial and body reconstruction, plastic surgeons at home will learn many of these techniques and utilize them in their practices. Military plastic surgeons will be imparting these newfound procedures and advancements upon others during the Plastic Surgery Conference 2008 in November. Plastic Surgeons working in inner-city streets of America are hoping these strategies will help them treat patients with gun shot wounds and other crime related injuries. A military surgeon Dr. Harshbarger said,
"From these models, we can help soldiers who are missing half their skull or the upper part of their face by fashioning an innovative prefabricated, patient-specific implant to remodel their lost bone."
Hopefully with the advent of such reconstruction methods, trauma related injuries may be better tended to and restored to original form. If you want more information about plastic surgery or reconstruction go to onlinesurgery.com. Photolink

Breast Reconstruction Controversy
Science Daily is reporting that the American Society of Plastic Surgeons will be releasing a study showing evidence that injecting fat after breast reconstruction may be a safe alternative to fix any post-surgery problems. Breast shape after fat injections may reduce or remedy wrinkling, dimpling and other minor issues. The study will be released at the Plastic Surgeons 2008 Conference in November. Although the study discusses the positives of fat injections for breast reconstrution, such notion and technique has yet to be approved for cosmetic purposes. The post-reconstruction injections may leave the breasts looking smoother, fuller and more natural, all the while maintaining safety for the patient. The "Should we Inject Fat into the Breast" discussion panel will be meeting and debating about the controversial procedure during the conference. If you're interested in learning more about breast augmentation and reconstruction or if you'd like to find a professional go to onlinesurgery.com. Photolink

Economic Woes Damaging Surgeon's Wallets
The recent economic slump is taking a financial toll on plastic surgeons. Faces, stomachs and breasts are drooping nearly as much as the economy is. Potential patients are choosing not to indulge in costly cosmetic surgeries and instead save their pennies. Numbers of surgeries have rapidly decreased, some physicians say by nearly 30% in the last couple months. Although the exact numbers aren't out yet, the general consensus among plastic surgeons is that their businesses are sagging and struggling. Although the financial fiasco has put a wrinkle in the surgical procedures, the numbers for non-invasive temporary treatments have seen a steady increase. Since people aren't dishing out tens of thousands for a facelift or a body nip and tuck, most are opting for more economically viable treatments like Botox or Smart Lipo. Pricey procedures may be dwindling, but plastic surgeons can't complain just yet. Botox injections can cost hundreds of dollars per vile with a short 4-month wait time, and similarly Smart Lipo and other non-invasive practices reach up to 5 or 6 thousand dollars. The industry is still one of the most lucrative, aesthetic enhancements will never go out of fashion. If you are looking into cosmetic surgery, go to onlinesurgery.com for information, cost estimates and professionals near you. Photolink

The ‘Derriere, Bum, Booty, Rear End, Buttocks' Lift
Thanks to today's voluptuous and sexy stars like Beyonce, Gisele Bundchen and Jennifer Lopez, the newest cosmetic surgery rage is the infamous "butt lift." Women around the world are lifting, enhancing and enlarging their back assets with hopes of getting a 'bootylicious' bottom. In the UK alone buttock enhancements have increased tenfold, and the American Society for Plastic Surgery reported a five-fold increase among women wanting a more bodacious backside. For years the fashion fad for the "butt lift" was to use implants, much like a breast augmentation. However, today most plastic surgeons prefer the fat transfer method in order to not only boost the size, but to sculpt and tailor the contour to better improve the overall physiques of women. Dr. Marco Faria-Correa is one of the world's most renowned derriere enlarging surgeons. Women from all over the world fly to Brazil for his expertise. He recently said, "These days, for every 10 cases I get of gluteal augmentation with fat injection, I'll get only one case of silicon implants." If you are looking for a more pronounced bottom or would like to get more information about cosmetic surgery procedures go to onlinesurgery.com and inquire with professionals. Photolink

Celebrity Plastic Surgery Confessions
Daniel Craig is this weeks headline act – admitting that plastic surgery is the inevitable as his stunts, gashes and injuries continue during James Bond filming. The actor was rushed to the hospital after getting hurt while filming the forthcoming Bond flick in South America. Though Craig is merely 40-years-old playing Bond is taking its toll on this hunks appearance. Craig was quoted saying,
"It's what happens when you do something like this. I got tagged in a fight sequence and needed eight stitches. Plastic surgery? Give it five years."
Though female fans would staunchly disagree by his recent comments. He sent millions of women in near cardiac arrest with his buff physique in euro trunks during Casino Royale. 007 may be battered and bruised after his fight sequences, but by no means is Craig stepping down as the womanizing secret agent. So ladies don't fret Bond will be back in his trunks reprising the infamous British spy for years to come, even if he has a few nips and tucks. Photolink

Plastic Surgery Products in Demand
Americans are investing in good looks to fight against aging or to "Keep up with the Kardashians." There is frenzy for plastic surgery products across the nation. The multi-billion dollar industry boomed by 10% this year, and researchers believe the industry will continue to swell rampantly as our population ages by the millions. There are a sundry of reasons for the explosive growth, but the most pervasive factor is that society accepts plastic surgery far more than years before. And frankly we deem it necessary to look primped and pampered in order to compete in the youthful workforce led by Generation Y. As cosmetic surgery techniques advance, less invasive tools and surgeries will push the demand even further. The accessibility and acceptance of plastic surgery adds to the already flourishing industry. "Keeping up with Kardashians" will get easier as time goes by and manufacturers of cosmetic surgery products will be rolling in cash making the fifty-something's look thirty again. Photolink

Eyelid Surgery Craze
Whether it's a matter of Westernization or beauty enhancement, Asian Blepharoplasty has plastic surgeons seeing double. The craze from Asian countries has hit the US by storm. Asian communities young and old, from across the Pacific and within the states are getting the eyelid widening procedure done by the dozens. Blepharoplasty is becoming to the new lucrative practice for many plastic surgeons. It is estimated to cost over $6,000. The controversial surgery has gained rapid popularity among the Asian community. In fact not just in the US, 1 in 10 Korean adults get the eyelid surgery, and for the past decade double-eyelid surgery has been the most sought after cosmetic enhancement among Asian women in America and Asia. According the Orange County Register's report about Blepharoplasty,
"From 2004 to 2006 the numbers jumped by about 40 percent, to an average of about 305,000 procedures a year."
With the increase in numbers comes the added pressure by peers, family and friends for younger Asians to succumb to the craze. "It is not uncommon to hear in the Asian American community about a friend, or a friend's friend, who was offered by her parents or relatives to have the surgery performed as a coming of age present." The report also says that it's not uncommon to see parents pushing for surgeons to perform the surgery on their tiny tots. But is this becoming an epidemic? Some people in the Asian Community believe the pressure is insurmountable to overcome; boys and girls alike feel the constant need to look "more westernized" or have larger eyes (which in many Asian cultures is seen as a symbol of beauty). Regardless of their intentions and purpose, patients are flocking for this new trend. California Vetoes Cosmetic Surgery Bill
The "Donda West Act" – prompted by the death of Kanye West's mother – vetoed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger yesterday was intended to prevent plastic surgery complications. The bill had unanimous supported by legislation, and would oblige all cosmetic surgery patients to carry out a number of extensive physical examinations and tests. Although, major complications like that of Donda West are rare, the bill would further solidify the safety of undergoing surgery. If the act is later passed by Gov. Schwarzenegger the chances of complications like Donda West's may be reduced. West died at age 58, the day after breast augmentation and liposuction surgery as a result of substantial cardiac artery blockage – a potential problem that with supplementary medical examinations would be caught and addressed immediately. The Governor and California legislation is currently backlogged and flooded with a heap of financial measures and bills focused on the nations agonizing financial episode. Thus, putting medical issues like the "Donda West Act" in the backseat. Such pre-surgery exams are vital and highly recommended by plastic surgeons, but many fail to perform them. If there is a proper law intact doctors and cosmetic clinics will be the first to follow-up with patients eager to have a surgery. Photolink

Working Overtime to Pay for Plastics
It's not a surprise that there is a flurry of people working extra hours to save-up money to pay for cosmetic surgery. After all just this week "Burn After Reading" a satirical Coen Brother's film strewn with stylish celebrities like Brad Pitt and George Clooney mocked the notion of our superficial society and our addiction to plastic surgery. People in all socio-economic statuses are infatuated with the Hollywood image and aesthetic appeal of such procedures. In fact Medical News Today said,
"As well as taking on extra work to raise money, many of our patients are dipping into saving schemes and cutting down on holidays, socializing, shopping and home decoration to fund their plastic surgery."
In addition to taking on an extra job or overtime work, people are opting to change their lifestyles with hopes of getting a cosmetic procedure done. Just as Frances McDormand's overweight, childishly nerdy and distraught character did in the film – she sought out a blackmail venture against John Malkovich and extra work at the gym just to fund the four cosmetic surgeries she was in "dire need" for. Now this film was merely an exaggeration and fabrication of our culture, but saving up for procedures is commonplace and a good idea if you're hoping to get something done. For a reliable doctor, the prices don't come cheap, so saving up is a viable option. Thus far the most popular cosmetic procedure as a result of laborious hours of overtime and a second job is liposuction – which comes at a hefty price. So after you've saved your nickels and dimes be sure to check out onlinesurgery.com to get further information about cosmetic surgery and doctor's near you. Photolink

Plastic Surgery in 2008: Beauty Queens to Dogs?
Who would have thought there is a cosmetic surgery connection between Miss Universe contestants and well…dogs. A shocking report by the Orange County Register reports that dogs, like beauty queens – including this years Miss Universe Venezuelan stunner Dayana Mendoza – are going under the knife of surgeons and vets alike to enhance their looks and chances of winning. Though today we consider cosmetic surgery to be quite blasé and the laws are considerably lax, those for dogs are surprisingly stringent. Today, any one of us can walk in for a consult to a local plastic surgeon asking for a rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, or a face-life, but our pups on the other hand have to abide by a number of rules restricting their physical enhancements. According to the OC Register article, "It's allowed only if the history of the breed includes practices such as cropping the tail or ears." Unlike the Miss Universe contest, dog beauty pageants forbid plastic surgery for their canine contestants just looking to fluff up their ears or fix their drooping jowls. Alongside the many critics of tail docking and ear cropping in the competitive arena, some veterinarians and owners find such procedures to be beneficial for the dogs. Though women and men flock to cosmetic surgery by the thousands every year, we hardly deem it essential and necessary to our existence as these somewhat fanatical dog owners perceive it to be. Which is why the laws circulating around the canine cosmetic industry are intact to impede the masses of competitive contestants hoping to nip or tuck something on their beloved pets. In Venezuela beauty and plastic surgery are inseparable, just as they are in many big cities in the US. If you're interested in cosmetic surgery, onlinsurgery.com can refer you to a number of renowned plastic surgeons in your area. Photolink
