Americans are investing in good looks to fight against aging or to “Keep up with the Kardashians.” There is frenzy for plastic surgery products across the nation. The multi-billion dollar industry boomed by 10% this year, and researchers believe the industry will continue to swell rampantly as our population ages by the millions.
There are a sundry of reasons for the explosive growth, but the most pervasive factor is that society accepts plastic surgery far more than years before. And frankly we deem it necessary to look primped and pampered in order to compete in the youthful workforce led by Generation Y. As cosmetic surgery techniques advance, less invasive tools and surgeries will push the demand even further. The accessibility and acceptance of plastic surgery adds to the already flourishing industry. “Keeping up with Kardashians” will get easier as time goes by and manufacturers of cosmetic surgery products will be rolling in cash making the fifty-something’s look thirty again.
