As the global economy is on the brink of a meltdown, the plastic surgery industry is proving there is always money to be made in beauty. A survey done in the UK shows that British plastic surgeons are thriving through the recession because of gay men going under the knife. The research shows that nearly a quarter of gay men in the UK have undergone some sort of plastic surgery procedure.
US surgeons may be complaining of a slowdown, but their British counterparts are raking in the dough. The research and survey says, "
69 percent of gay men say they would like to have cosmetic surgery, while 22% confess they have already succumbed to the surgeon's scalpel."
