Plastic surgery has long been considered a field dominated by women hoping to look better or younger. Though the growing trend in the industry is men getting work done. Increasingly surgeons are finding business-men and middle-aged men opting for a touch up, for a sundry of reason. Some men seek out cosmetic enhancements to keep up with younger men in the workforce, others to simply look younger or more fit. Regardless of the reason, men fessing up about there cosmetic surgery jaunts.

The Financial Times reported about men and surgery saying, ""There are definitely more business guys coming in and they have very focused demands," says Cap Lesesne, pictured, one of Manhattan's leading cosmetic surgeons. "They are worried about their job futures and their professional longevity." Typical male patients might be in their mid-forties, he adds. "They're fairly successful and they're looking to work into their sixties."

As the financial crisis worsens, granted people won't be investing loads of money into procedures, some will however opt for a nip and tuck to better compete with young peers and counterparts.
