The Body Sculpting Center is an all cosmetic outpatient surgery facility located in Scottsdale, Arizona that features a full range of cosmetic surgery procedures and skin care treatments. About Dr. Marvin Borsand
Dr. Marvin Borsand is known by his patients as being a caring, empathetic and understanding individual. His exceptional surgical skills and artistic ability have made him a leader in the Valley for cosmetic surgery. In addition to his certification with the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery, Dr. Borsand is also certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery which is the only board that exclusively certifies in Cosmetic Surgery.
The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery(AACS) has recognized Dr. Borsand's surgical ability and certified him to facilitate a fellowship training program in cosmetic surgery, which is currently the only one of its kind in Arizona. Many surgeons from across the country, and the world, apply to the Body Sculpting Center for the opportunity to learn cosmetic surgery techniques under his direction. About Dr. William Shuell
Dr. William Shuell hails from New York where he was a practicing OB/GYN doctor for 20 years and delivered over 4,500 babies. In 1997 he set up a solo practice doing liposuction, IPL and other laser treatments. He was named Best Gynecologist in Scottsdale by 101 North magazine just one year after opening his practice in Arizona. He joined the Body Sculpting Center under the cosmetic fellowship program in September of 2005 and completed his fellowship in September of 2006. Though Dr. Shuell is our vaginal surgery specialist he also performs a full line of cosmetic procedures.
About Dr. Michael Schwartz
A board certified facial plastic surgeon, Michael Schwartz, M.D., has been practicing facial plastic and reconstructive surgery in Pasadena, California since 1990. He has been featured on local and national media discussing the latest techniques in facial plastic surgery, and he has been honored by his selection as one of America’s top doctors in the “2003 Guide to Top Doctors.”
Dr. Schwartz has undergone extensive training as a cosmetic surgeon. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry in 1978 from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, he went on to earn his M.D. in 1982 from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. He then completed two years of internal medicine training at the LAC/USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, followed by five years of training in head and neck surgery at the University of Southern California, and an additional one year of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery training at the University of Illinois.
Dr. Schwartz has the distinction of being a clinical assistant professor of facial plastic surgery at the University of Southern California, where he now passes his knowledge along to its residents. He has also recently completed two years’ service as Chief of Surgery at Pasadena’s St. Luke’s Medical Center. Dr. Michael Schwartz is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS) and the American Board of Otolaryngology.
About Dr. Paul Fox
Dr. Paul Fox recently joined the medical staff of Body Sculpting Center as our cosmetic vein treatment specialist. He has an extensive background in treating unsightly spider and varicose leg veins, without surgery, using specialized injection and laser treatments. Dr. Fox is a Board Certified anesthesiologist with many years experience putting patients to sleep for various types of surgeries. He trained at Los Angeles County-U.S.C. Medical Center and has practiced in Phoenix/Scottsdale for over 20 years. After developing his skills with injections for pain control, he was excited to be able to adapt many of these same techniques to help patients beautify their legs by getting rid of unwanted veins.
Dr. Fox completed his anesthesia training at the Los Angeles County-U.S.C. Medical Center. He continues to work in operating rooms throughout Phoenix helping patients comfortably and safely through surgeries of all kinds. It was as an anesthesiologist that he developed his skills performing injections for pain control. He understood that the ability to give practically pain-free injections would be welcomed by patients wanting vein treatments for cosmetic purposes. Dr. Fox belongs to the American College of Phlebology, an organization that keeps doctors up to date on the latest facial and leg vein treatment methods worldwide. Patients like Dr. Fox's personable style and how he truly enjoys getting to know each one of his patients.
