In 2006, Dr Haworth formed THE HAWORTH INSTITUTE in order to combine the most advanced proven methods of aesthetic care under one convenient roof. He is now able to provide the best surgical care, non-surgical interventions (such as Restylane, Puragel, Botox, IPL Photofacials, laser hair removal, Fraxel, etc.) and dermatological care (under the auspices of DR DEBRA LUFTMAN) in a very efficient, comfortable manner for all of his patients. in 2005, DR GLEN VALLECILLOS joined THE HAWORTH INSTITUTE as a very gifted plastic surgeon with a subspeciality in body-contouring surgery after massive weight loss.

Education

RANDAL HAWORTH'S early education was at The King's School, Canterbury, England, the oldest boarding school in the world. He did his undergraduate work in chemistry and biology, with a minor in art history and graduated with honors. In 1988, after graduating with the HIGHEST HONORS (ALPHA OMEGA ALPHA) from the USC School of Medicine, he completed his five-year General Surgical residency at THE NEW YORK HOSPITAL CORNELL MEDICAL CENTER in Manhattan in 1993. This comprehensive training included specialized experience at the prestigious MEMORIAL SLOAN KETTERING CANCER CENTER in NYC. Returning to the West Coast, he served as CHIEF RESIDENT in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the UCLA Medical Center and gained extensive experience in the sub-specialties of aesthetic, micro, pediatric and hand surgery. During his time at UCLA, Dr. Haworth earned the title of PLASTIC SURGICAL CONSULTANT OF THE YEAR for 1993-94.

Plastic Surgeon

In 1995, his pioneering technique in natural, permanent lip augmentation, utilizing the patient's own tissue, won him the esteemed PLASTIC SURGICAL RESEARCH PRIZE at UCLA. DR. HAWORTH subsequently established his own practice on Bedford Drive in Beverly Hills. Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, DR. HAWORTH is also on staff at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and is a patron and generous contributor to many charities & organizations including the Thalians (President's Club), Sheba Medical Center, Best Buddies, and The Rape Foundation. His latest are papers involving innovations in breast and lip enhancement surgeries. His latest paper, published June 2004 in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the most prestigious peer review journal in the field, details Dr. Haworth's innovations in permanent lip augmentation as well as the F.A.T.M.A. technique that he invented. He is consistently invited as a guest lecturer to other plastic surgeons of his surgical techniques in both national and international meetings.

Forehead Lift or Brow Lift

A forehead lift or (browlift) is a procedure that restores a more youthful, refreshed look to the area above the eyes. The procedure corrects drooping brows and improves the horizontal lines and furrows that can make a person appear angry, sad or tired. In a forehead lift, the muscles and tissues that cause the furrowing or drooping are removed or altered to smooth the forehead, raise the eyebrows and minimize frown lines. Albeit other surgeons may use the conventional Transcoronal surgical method, in which the incision is placed from ear-to-ear, Dr Haworth performs the proceduresolely with the use of an endoscope, a viewing instrument that allows the procedure to be performed with minimal incisions within the hair. Augmentation

Breast augmentation, technically known as augmentation mammoplasty, is a surgical procedure to enhance the size and shape of a woman's breast for a number of reasons:
