He served residencies in general surgery at the University of Miami, FL and Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. His residency in plastic surgery was completed at the University of IL, where he was an instructor in plastic surgery. Dr. Karlin has practiced plastic and cosmetic surgery for over 20 years.
