University Medical Group – Department of Bariatric & Minimal Access Surgery is a group of professionals dedicated to providing all aspects of safe, effective weight-loss. We have offered weight-loss surgery in the Greenville, SC area since 2001. Our program is designed to provide everything a patient will need from comprehensive pre-op medical evaluation to life-long follow up care after surgery.

 

Physician's Background

Dr. Eric Bour has been serving the Greenville area for eight years providing general, bariatric, and laparoscopic surgery services. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and Certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. John Scott has been serving the Greenville area since October, 2008. He is board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is active in the American College of Surgeons, the Southeastern Surgical Society, the Society

of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons.
