Dr. Schusterman offers total body and face makeovers, including procedures such as breast surgery, tummy tucks, liposuction, and facelifts. He is also the originator of Makeovers for MomsTM in Houston, a package that combines multiple procedures to restore a mom’s body as close to her pre-pregnancy days as possible.


Physician's Background


Dr Schusterman is not a native Texan, but he got here as fast as he could.  Dr. Schusterman first came to Houston in 1988 to start the microsurgery program at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Here he became the Professor and Chairman of Plastic Surgery and held the prestigious Charles M. McBride Professorship in Surgical Oncology.  Dr. Schusterman left M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in 1997 for private practice, but still enjoys an affiliation with the Baylor College of Medicine as a clinical professor in the division of Plastic Surgery.       

Today Dr. Schusterman is a world renowned plastic surgeon and has been selected by his peers to be included in The Best Doctors in America, published by Woodward/White, for over 10 years in a row.  Dr. Schusterman is a requested lecturer and author, both nationally and internationally. He has pioneered techniques (such as the Free TRAM Flap technique) using the patient's own tissue for reconstruction after cancer surgery to enhance or preserve their quality of life.  He is a well respected authority on a variety of topics in plastic surgery both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.

I am 43 years old and a mother of three children ages 8, 9 and 11. I had been considering a tummy tuck for about 8 years when I finally decided it was now or never. Previously, I had spent years exercising to loose the excess weight but my breasts and butt would only get smaller, leaving my stomach bulge and taking away from my once cute hourglass figure.
