Scottsdale Labia Majora

Labia majora remodeling is a female genital surgery to reduce the size of enlarged outer lips of the vagina. This is a relatively minor procedure and is not painful. General anesthesia is usually used, but sedation with local anesthesia is possible if you choose.
Labia majora remodeling is performed when the outer lips of the vagina are enlarged with excess skin and tissue. This enlargement may causes embarrassment and insecurity. Sometimes, the labia majora may be enlarged from birth, secondary to childbirth, or due to aging. A portion of each inner labium is removed. The scar is hidden in the concavity between the inner and outer labia. This surgery is minor and takes about one and a half hours.
Labia Reduction Surgery
Labia reduction surgery is for women with enlarged or uneven labia minora. Large labia minora or vaginal lips can lead to discomfort with certain clothing, exercise, and sex. Labiaplasty is the reduction of the labia minora or the inner lips of the vagina. Lasers, fine scissors or a knife can be used. After labia reduction, the labia edges are then sewn together with dissolvable stitches. Surgery lasts between one and two hours and is generally performed under general anesthesia. Spinal anesthetic may also be used if you wish to be awake.
Vaginoplasty
Vaginoplasty or vaginal tightening surgery, removes excess vaginal skin to narrow the diameter of the vagina, resulting in a smaller and tighter vaginal opening. When the vagina becomes stretched from aging and child birth vaginoplasty tightens and restores the vagina and supporting structures.
These procedures are usually performed under a general anesthetic, which means that you are not awake during the surgery. If you want to have a spinal or epidural anesthesia instead, you can, or you can choose an intravenous sedation or even local anesthesia.
