Male Neck Lift

Cosmetic surgery and the 21st Century go hand in hand, kind of like chocolate and peanut butter. They mix well and everybody wants to have a procedure of one type or another done. It is not only acceptable in our cultural, but procedures are affordable, and everyone whether man or woman wants to look good. Becoming increasingly more popular is the male neck lift procedure. Men from all walks of life and from all around the globe want to have this procedure done.

A neck lift is a cosmetic surgery procedure that can re-sculpt your softening jaw line while removing jowls and the fleshy bands on your neck. A laser neck lift can remove fat, wrinkles, and tighten muscles while improving your skin texture and tone.

Reasons for a Neck Lift Include:

• A fatty Neck

• Sagging neck skin

• Neck looks like a turkey gobbler

• Visible neck cords

• Unfavorable neck line

• Crinkling of the neck skin

The Procedure

Using a local anesthetic with a mild sedative, liposuction is done to remove fat in order to obtain a more distinct profile of the neck and/or jaw line. Next, your surgeon will make a small incision just beneath your chin, through this opening more fat will be removed and this is also where your neck muscles will be tightened. The laser is then placed just inside the incision below the chin, which allows for the tightening of the skin. The laser is also used to treat the surface of the neck skin - further tightening this area and removing wrinkles.

You will need to wear a dressing for two to three days following your procedure and you can usually restart your normal, non-strenuous activities within 3 days.

Risks

• Bruising

• Infection

• Bad reaction to anesthesia

• Poor healing of your skin, especially if you are a smoker
