Where is the hymen?

If you think that the hymen is located on the inside of the vagina, you are not alone, but the truth of the matter is that the hymen is located outside of the vagina. Simple Hymenoplasty

Your surgeon will piece together the remnant by closing the tear. It is a rather simple procedure and can be completely healed in three to seven days. The hymen tissue is pulled together so that the vagina will again be covered by it. The risk of fever and infection is low since hymen is relatively avascular.

Alloplant



If your hymen can't not be restored, a tear-through biomaterial will be inserted and act as your hymen. Hymen implant is an easy procedure than can be done under local anesthetic and as a day case surgery. It takes less than two hour and you can return to work the next day. The implanted hymen is not easy to notice and it is not really a hymen.
