Labiaplasty is for women who suffer from oversized or asymmetrical labia minora or the folds of skin, the vaginal lips that surround the entrance to the vagina. Many women are born with this condition, it has affected them all of their lives, and they have suffered in silence, but it can also be caused by aging and stretching during childbirth. Women who have oversized or disproportionate vaginal lips often experience discomfort when wearing certain clothing, or during sexual intercourse and are even embarrassed when their sexual partner looks at them. But with labiaplasty these affects can be corrected.
The labia reduction procedure is relatively pain free. Small incisions are to remove any excess tissue or to even the edges of the labia minor. After surgery, the vaginal lips are normal and in some cases enhanced. Basically, they look good and feel good!
