Breast reduction is a surgical intervention for men or women who have enlarged or overdeveloped breast tissue.
Breast reduction surgery consists of removing excess fatty tissue through liposuction, or cutting out the glandular tissue that has built up. One or both of these procedures may be done. If there is a too much left over skin this may need to be removed for a firm appearance.
This procedure can usually be done in the clinic, however if there is a concern, overnight hospital stays are possible.
