Calf implants are becoming a popular way for individuals to achieve a perfectly sculpted lower leg when exercise and toning have failed.
The calf implant procedure is performed under general anesthesia. The surgeon will make small incisions in the crease behind the knee, where the silicone implants will be inserted into a pocket created between the muscles to keep the implant in place.
Once the calf implants are in place it will take four to six weeks to fully recover.
