Chin surgery or chin implants can enhance your chin as well as strengthen your jaw line, align your chin or bring your cheekbones into balance with the rest of your face.
Chin surgery usually takes 20 minutes and most of the time can be done in the clinic, but in some instances will require an overnight stay in the hospital. Your surgeon will make a tiny slit on the front of your jawbone in order to make a pouch to place the implant.
After your surgery you will experience some swelling and discomfort that can last for several days. You will receive special instructions on dental hygiene, eating and activity restrictions.
