Can microdermabrasion remove any thick skin growths on the face?

I went to see a dermatologist about my skin condition. He recommended I go see a cosmetic surgeon. I have tuberous sclerious which causes small calisfication on the skin. I was hoping by some miracle there was a chance it could be done. thanks cara w.
